Giannis Antetokounmpo Returns With A 26-Point Effort
3 years agoMilwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo was back in action on Sunday and scored a team-high 26 points in a blowout loss to Atlanta. The Greek Freak sat out Friday's 122-113 overtime loss to Boston with an apparent ankle problem and maybe it was still bothering him, as Antetokounmpo went only 9-for-21 from the field and 7-for-12 at the charity stripe with a 1-for-5 effort from deep. He pulled down five boards and handed out six assists while picking up one steal, one block and three turnovers in 34 minutes. This was one of Giannis' worst performances of the season and he still put together a decent fantasy line. He can now start preparing for the Lakers, and with a few off days coming up, the two-time MVP hopefully can get close to full health.
