Giannis Antetokounmpo Picks Up First Triple-Double Of The Year
3 years agoMilwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo notched his first triple-double of the season on Sunday, scoring 20 points with 10 rebounds and 11 assists in a comfortable win over the Knicks. He started things off with an alley-oop dunk and shot 7-for-16 for the game with a 6-for-8 record at the foul line. He also picked up one steal and one block with three turnovers in 32 minutes. Giannis now boasts 26 career triple-doubles, which puts him tied with Elgin Baylor for the 19th most triple-doubles in NBA history. Antetokounmpo's shooting was a bit iffy here, so should be looking to improve his efficiency in Monday's big matchup against Boston.
