6 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers defensive tackle Gerald McCoy (calf) and defensive end Vinny Curry (ankle) have both been ruled out for Week 7 against the Browns. Rookie defensive tackle Vita Vea will make his first NFL start in place of McCoy. For a Tampa defense that has struggled mightily this year, it won't help to be without their best remaining player in McCoy. Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield already had a nice matchup, and this news makes it even better. Rookie running back Nick Chubb immediately becomes an RB2 with the news that Carlos Hyde was traded to the Jaguars.
