Gerald Everett Dealing With Shoulder Injury
6 years agoLos Angeles Rams tight end Gerald Everett (shoulder), who is set to be the backup to Tyler Higbee in his second season, did not travel to Baltimore for the first preseason game due to a shoulder sprain. Before his injury, Everett had vaulted himself into the consideration for serious playing time and had one of the most impressive catches of training camp so far. The Rams could use more two-tight end sets in 2018, which would be good news for Everett. He'd probably be worth looking at as a waiver wire addition if Higbee was hurt during the season, but otherwise you can likely avoid Everett.
