George Springer Leaves Game With Shoulder Soreness
6 years agoHouston Astros outfielder George Springer (shoulder) left the game early on Tuesday in the second inning with left shoulder soreness. Springer injured himself during a hard dive in the outfield. The injury doesn't seem too serious, though, so hopefully he's just day-to-day. Springer hasn't been quite as good as he was last year, but he's still helping owners in all formats with his .249 average, 18 home runs, 55 runs, six stolen bases and 72 runs scored. If he were to miss any time, Kyle Tucker would likely benefit the most from extra playing time.
