9 months agoGeoff Neal suffered a split decision loss to Ian Machado Garry on the main card of UFC 298 on Saturday. Neal was outstruck in all three rounds, but he did have over a minute of control in all three rounds. The fight was very low volume for both fighters as Neal failed to land 20+ strikes in two of the three rounds. With the loss, Neal is now 15-6 and on a two-fight losing skid, and will now likely have to fight someone behind him to remain a ranked welterweight.--Cole Shelton
