4 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers second baseman Gavin Lux (wrist), who was placed on the injured list on April 18 with right wrist soreness, is on track to be activated when he's eligible, which would be for next Monday's game against the Cincinnati Reds. "He's still swinging, taking grounders, running, throwing, and he's hitting in the cage," said manager Dave Roberts. "Hopefully we'll get him on the field [at Dodger Stadium], hopefully Thursday. [He'll] take some batting practice and then hopefully [face live pitching] at some point over the weekend." A combination of Max Muncy, Zach McKinstry, Sheldon Neuse and Chris Taylor have seen action at the keystone with Lux sidelined, and that should continue into this weekend's series against the division-rival San Diego Padres.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
