Garrett Crochet Moving Rehab To Triple-A
2 years agoChicago White Sox left-hander Garrett Crochet (elbow) will move his minor-league rehab assignment to Triple-A Charlotte on Tuesday. Crochet made three relief appearances for Double-A Birmingham, allowing four runs on five hits while walking three and striking out four in 3 1/3 innings. The 23-year-old southpaw continues to rehab from Tommy John surgery, but he's getting closer to making his return to Chicago's big-league bullpen. In the long term, the White Sox still want Crochet to be a starter, but he's likely to stay in a multi-inning relief role the rest of this season, which obviously severely limits his fantasy potential.
