Frederik Andersen Goes For A Fifth Straight Win
3 years agoCarolina Hurricanes goaltender Frederik Andersen will head out for his fifth consecutive win on Saturday against the Kings. The former Maple Leaf finished last month with a three-game losing streak after beating Los Angeles 5-4, but he hasn't dropped a single outing in December. Andersen is having a dream debut season in Raleigh, boasting a 15-5-0 record. He's allowed 1.98 goals per game with a .928 save percentage and one shutout. The situation is far from ideal for the Hurricanes, with a number of players missing because of COVID-19 protocols, but they can always count on Andersen to pull them through.
