Francisco Lindor Taking Groundballs
6 years agoCleveland Indians shortstop Francisco Lindor (calf) took ground balls and batting practice on Wednesday. Manager Terry Francona said that Lindor is still not moving laterally as he recovers from a strained right calf. There's a good chance that Lindor might not be ready for Opening Day, but he's not expected to miss much time if he isn't ready for the start of the season. The 25-year-old switch-hitter is a top-five fantasy player regardless of the injury after hitting .277 with 38 home runs, 92 RBI, 129 runs and 25 stolen bases in 2018.
