Francisco Lindor Could Be Out Three Weeks
6 years agoCleveland Indians shortstop Francisco Lindor (ankle) could be out for at least three weeks. The Indians are expected to get a more clear timetable on Wednesday. It's a tough break for fantasy owners and the Indians, as Lindor is one of the best all-around players in baseball when he's healthy. The 25-year-old switch-hitter batted .277/.352/.519 with a career-high 38 home runs, 92 RBI, league-leading 129 runs scored and 25 steals in 158 games a season ago. Eric Stamets should continue filling in for Lindor at the 6 to open the season. You'll have to be patient with the All-Star shortstop and hope that he still runs as much when he returns to the Tribe.
