Felix Hernandez Feeling OK
6 years agoSeattle Mariners starting pitcher Felix Hernandez (hamstring) said his hamstring feels "okay" and that doctors told him he's dealing with a low-grade strain. Manager Scott Servais said the training staff will decide if he's cleared to pitch on Saturday against the Angels. If Hernandez can't go, starter Erasmo Ramirez would move up a day. King Felix gave up one earned run but was removed after four innings in his last start against the Yankees over the weekend. He has looked human this year with a 5.46 ERA, 1.40 WHIP and career-low 7.2 K/9 in 28 outings (27 starts). Coming off injury, Hernandez would be a risky streamer, even against the Angels.
