Ezekiel Elliott Working Through Knee Issue
3 years agoDallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott (knee) is dealing with some knee pain and didn't practice on Wednesday, but he plans to return to practice on Thursday and play through the issue in Week 5 against the division-rival New York Giants. It's nothing to worry about for now, but it's worth watching. Elliott had a great day in the Week 4 win over the Carolina Panthers, running the ball 20 times for 143 yards and a touchdown. Tony Pollard has seen his role behind Elliott increase this year, but Elliott remains an every-week RB1 in this potent offense. Through the first four weeks, Elliott ranks as the RB3 with 342 rushing yards and four rushing scores.
