Ezekiel Elliott Should Play Despite Limited Practices
4 years agoDallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott will be limited in practice this week due to his calf injury, but he is fully expected to play. Coach Mike McCarthy said that "Zeke" did not suffer any setbacks in the Week 14 win over the Bengals. Elliott split work with Tony Pollard then and might do the same again in Week 15 though. Elliott hasn't scored a touchdown for three straight games and gets a matchup against a 49ers Defense that ranks fourth in the league against opposing running backs. Elliott's RB1 upside is essentially gone and he's more of a decent-floor FLEX play at this point.
