Evander Kane Records First Playoff Hat Trick
3 years agoEdmonton Oilers winger Evander Kane celebrated his first playoff hat trick Friday night against the Kings, helping the team to a big 8-2 victory. He struck twice in the second period and finished off his three-goal effort with 20 seconds left in regulation. Kane also led all skaters with nine shots on goal and eight hits. That's now back-to-back three-point performances for Kane in the series after he couldn't get any offense going in Game 1. He's been busy with 19 hits as well and seems to be really relishing the opportunity to play playoff hockey for only the third time in his 13-year NHL career.
