Evander Kane Enjoys A Three-Point Night Against St. Louis
3 years agoEdmonton Oilers winger Evander Kane ended a three-game dry spell with a goal and two assists in Friday's 6-5 overtime victory against the Blues. He scored his 16th goal of the season in a short-handed situation in the middle of the first period and went on to help Darnell Nurse and Connor McDavid on the score sheet. Kane also kept him busy with four hits in 19:25. The 30-year-old had gone quiet prior to Friday, but head coach Jay Woodcroft has tweaked his lines a bit this week and Kane seemed to have gotten a boost from it Friday night. He's now skating with McDavid and Jesse Puljujarvi, while Kailer Yamamoto has moved to the second line.
