6 years agoSan Francisco Giants third baseman Evan Longoria (shoulder), who was scratched from the lineup on Saturday with left shoulder inflammation, is considered day-to-day despite remaining out of the lineup on Monday. The 33-year-old's injury isn't very serious, so we'd expect him back in the lineup on Tuesday. He's hitting just .223/.263/.402 with four home runs and 13 RBI in 112 at-bats. At this point in his career in a pitching-friendly home environment with not much else help around him in the lineup, Longoria is more of an NL-only asset.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
