6 years agoMinnesota Twins starting pitcher Ervin Santana (finger) was told he's now dealing with an irritated nerve on the inner pad of his right middle finger after he met with New York hand surgeon Dr. Charles Melone. Santana still hasn't thrown since being shut down. It's been a lost season for the veteran right-hander because of finger issues, and he has an ugly 8.03 ERA, 1.62 WHIP and 16 strikeouts in just 24 2/3 innings across five starts.
