Eloy Jimenez Makes Opening Day Roster
6 years agoChicago White Sox outfielder Eloy Jimenez made the Opening Day roster on Tuesday. This would've been more surprising had Jimenez not recently inked a $43 million deal with the club. Chicago's top prospect and No. 3 overall, per MLB Pipeline, is one of the most promising young players in baseball and will have high-end fantasy potential in all leagues in a great hitter's park. The 22-year-old hit .243 with two doubles, two homers and six RBI in 37 spring training at-bats. Between Double-A and Triple-A in 2018, Jimenez hit .337 with 22 home runs and 75 RBI in 108 games.
