Eloy Jimenez Has Right Elbow Soreness
5 years agoUpdating a previous report, Chicago White Sox outfielder Eloy Jimenez (elbow) left the game early on Tuesday with right elbow soreness after colliding with teammate Charlie Tilson in the outfield. It's somewhat good news, although Jimenez could still land on the injured list after the team re-evaluates him. The 22-year-old phenom hasn't really found his stride completely in 2019, but he's shown flashes of his high upside and is batting .244/.307/.483 with 17 home runs, 36 runs and 39 RBI in 267 plate appearances. When it all comes together for Jimenez, he'll be a fantasy stud. Check back on Wednesday for more on his status, but don't be surprised if he misses at least a game or two.
