Eloy Jimenez Drives In Two On Sunday
3 years agoChicago White Sox outfielder Eloy Jimenez helped the team capture a 5-2 victory over the Cleveland Indians on Sunday. He went 1-for-5 with two RBI in the game. The 24-year-old has had a rough time at the plate in September. He's slashing just .192/.253/.288 with one home run, five RBI and four runs scored over 19 games. He's also struck out 23 times this month while walking just six times. Jimenez made his season debut in late July and he was stellar in August, tallying seven home runs and 27 RBI while posting an .865 OPS. Most of his underlying power metrics are down from last year, like his .436 xSLG on the year, a decrease from .544 last year. He might be worth benching in some shallow fantasy leagues for championship week if you have an enticing alternative.
