6 years agoPittsburgh Pirates catcher Elias Diaz (hamstring) exited the game early on Friday night with a right hamstring injury. It sounds like a day-to-day injury for Diaz, but expect Francisco Cervelli to be behind the dish for Saturday's game. Diaz has filled in nicely as Cervelli's backup this year, hitting .286 with nine home runs and 30 RBI. He's an option for those in two-catcher leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
