Edwin Jackson Might Become Option For A's
6 years agoOakland Athletics starting pitcher Edwin Jackson, who was signed to a minor league deal earlier this month, threw in a simulated game at the team's spring training facility in Arizona on Tuesday. He threw around 70 pitches and the next step is moving to Triple-A Las Vegas at some point this week. Jackson was 6-3 with a 3.33 ERA in 2018 with Oakland, and he could become an option for their rotation when he's stretched out enough in the minor leagues. We wouldn't expect the right-hander to be as good as he was last season, but Jackson could become a streaming option in DFS and AL-only leagues if he is in the starting rotation in Oakland.
