Edwin Encarnacion's Hand Still Sore
6 years agoCleveland Indians designated hitter Edwin Encarnacion (biceps, hand) no longer has pain in his biceps, but his right hand remains sore. He's hoping to take batting practice by Sunday or Monday, which makes his activation at the 10-day mark "questionable," according to manager Terry Francona. The slugger could still return sometime next week if he doesn't have any setbacks. He's hitting just .229 on the year but has 25 home runs and 81 RBI in a strong Cleveland offense. He's a must-start when he's healthy.
