Eddie Rosario Aggravates Quad Injury
6 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder Eddie Rosario (quadriceps) aggravated his quad injury on Monday and was forced from the game. The good news is that Rosario hit a solo home run in three plate appearances before leaving. The bad news is that this is an injury that has kept Rosario from playing recently and could force him to be shut down for the rest of the season. He's been one of the few bright spots in a disappointing season for the Twins, hitting .288/.323/.479 with 24 home runs, 87 runs scored, 77 RBI and eight stolen bases. Stay tuned for a possible timetable on when Rosario might be able to return to action.
