6 years agoSeattle Seahawks strong safety Earl Thomas is expected to play in Week 1 against the Broncos after ending his contract holdout earlier this week. It's good news for a declining Seattle defense, and it's especially notable after the team placed cornerback Dontae Johnson (groin) on Injured Reserve on Saturday. The aging Thomas can still be one of the more effective safeties in the league when he's healthy, but he's not on the IDP radar for now.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
