Eagles To Announce Week 2 QB On Wednesday
6 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles offensive coordinator Mike Groh said head coach Doug Pederson will announce the team's starting quarterback for Week 2 against the Buccaneers on Wednesday. Carson Wentz (knee) is getting closer to live action, but the team is expected to hold him out for at least one more week. That means Nick Foles, who looked terrible in the season opener, will get another shot under center. A matchup against the Bucs, who allowed 40 points in their season opener, will make Foles more enticing as a two-QB league option.
