Eagles Have No Plans To Pursue Le'Veon Bell
6 years agoThe Philadelphia Eagles haven't pursued a trade for Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell and have no plans to do so despite losing Jay Ajayi (knee) for the season, according to sources. Philadelphia also restructured the contract of Pro Bowl defensive tackle Fletcher Cox on Friday, creating $6.5 million more in salary cap space this season and $11.7 million more next year. Still, the Eagles have no plans to go after Bell. With Ajayi out, the Eagles should run with some combination of Corey Clement and Wendell Smallwood in the immediate future.
