6 years agoThe Philadelphia Eagles are expected to pick up quarterback Nick Foles' $20 million option for the 2019 season, according to sources. Foles can then buy out his option for $2 million and become a free agent, but the Eagles could also place the franchise tag on him and attempt to trade him for a draft pick. In a weak QB market, Foles is likely to be playing elsewhere (and likely starting) for another team after leading the Eagles to an improbable Super Bowl championship last year and a playoff berth in 2018 with Carson Wentz injured. Foles' 2019 fantasy value will be determined by where he's playing, but he'll probably be more of a QB2 with QB1 upside based on matchups.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
