Eagles Draft Jalen Reagor In First Round
5 years agoThe Philadelphia Eagles selected TCU wide receiver Jalen Reagor with the No. 21 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft on Thursday. Reagor steadily rose up draft boards since the end of the college season. His dad was a defensive end for nine years in the NFL, so he's got the NFL bloodlines. Reagor is a small guy and isn't overly fast, but he's great at yards after the catch and has a 42-inch vertical. It was no secret that the Eagles need wideout help after Alshon Jeffery and DeSean Jackson were hurt for most of the 2019 season. Jeffery is unlikely to stick around in Philly past the 2020 season, too. The most impressive thing about Reagor is how he performed with terrible quarterback play at TCU. He could immediately become a safety blanket for Carson Wentz in his rookie season and will be a PPR sleeper in deeper leagues.
