Dylan Floro Behind Due To Arm Soreness
3 years agoMiami Marlins manager Don Mattingly said that relief pitcher Dylan Floro is "a little behind" in his throwing program while he deals with arm soreness. "We'll have some questions with his ramp ups. He's throwing, but we're not quite sure when he's going to be ready," Mattingly said. The 31-year-old right-hander had the first 15 saves of his career with the Fish in 2021 and was set to enter this year as their closer yet again, but his arm issues could cause him to miss the start of the regular season. He had a nice 2.81 ERA, 1.22 WHIP, 62 K's and 25 walks in 64 relief innings, but it's looking like Anthony Bass and Anthony Bender could be battling for ninth-inning duties to open up the 2022 campaign.
