Dwayne Haskins To Miss Regular Season Finale
5 years agoWashington Redskins rookie quarterback Dwayne Haskins (ankle) will miss the Week 17 game against the Cowboys after suffering a high ankle sprain in Week 16 against the Giants. His ankle injury will require a few weeks of rest and rehab, so it'll end Haskins' rookie season. It's a shame, too, as he was finally starting to show some improvement the last two weeks in good matchups with the Eagles and Giants. With little help around him, the 22-year-old struggled mightily in nine games, going 119-for-203 (58.6 percent) for 1,365 yards, seven touchdowns and seven interceptions. He was sacked 29 times. Until Washington's offense gets more playmakers to help out, Haskins' upside will be limited. Case Keenum will start against Dallas this Sunday, giving receivers Terry McLaurin and Steven Sims Jr. slightly more fantasy appeal.
