6 years agoBoston Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia (knee) went 2-for-3 with a single and a double in his first rehab game with High-A Greenville on Thursday, and he also walked and lined out in his other two plate appearances. He was perfect on his chances in the field, too, and even turned a double play. The veteran second baseman has been rehabbing his surgically repaired knee but is close to rejoining the major league team. Red Sox manager Alex Cora said that Pedroia would play nine innings in back-to-back games Thursday and Friday before getting Saturday off before playing another full game on Sunday. He could be back with Boston next week, but expecting a whole lot from Pedroia in fantasy would be foolish.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
