Drew Lock To Resume Practicing Soon
5 years agoDenver Broncos rookie quarterback Drew Lock (thumb) is expected to resume practicing ahead of the Week 11 game against the Vikings. Lock has been on Injured Reserve all season, but it looks like he'll be designated to return, especially now that Joe Flacco's (neck) season is over. In the meantime, Denver will roll with Brandon Allen, with Brett Rypien backing him up. It's bad news for receiver Courtland Sutton mostly, and the Broncos will likely lean more on running backs Phillip Lindsay and Royce Freeman to take pressure off of Allen. Lock isn't a lock to make his season debut in Week 11 after the team's Week 10 bye, but he should at least make a handful of starts to close out the year. He's strictly one to stash in dynasty/keeper leagues.
