Doug Baldwin Has Grade 2 MCL Tear
6 years agoSeattle Seahawks wide receiver Doug Baldwin (knee) was diagnosed with a Grade 2 partial tear of his MCL, according to a source. The team is still trying to determine how much time he will miss. Baldwin didn't have a single catch in Week 1 against the Broncos before leaving the game and will likely miss multiple weeks with this injury. He's now dealing with injuries to both knees after hurting his other knee in training camp. This could very well be a lost year for the team's No. 1 wideout. In his absence in the season opener, veteran wideout Brandon Marshall led the team in targets, while rookie tight end Will Dissly led the team in yards. Tyler Lockett should be the team's top wideout for however long Baldwin is out, but both Marshall and Dissly warrant serious waiver wire attention this week for needy owners.
