Domantas Sabonis Has Big First Half Before Getting Hurt
4 years agoIndiana Pacers forward/center Domantas Sabonis was on his way to another big line in Thursday's meeting with the Bucks when he put on a playmaking clinic with 13 first-half assists, but he ended up logging only 26 minutes due to a knee injury. The two-time All-Star finished the game with 14 assists and 10 points. Justin Holiday and T.J. McConnell picked up the scoring by getting 26 and 23 points, respectively. Sabonis, who shot 5-for-19 from the field, apparently wanted to get back out there, but the team kept him out of action with a play-in spot clinched, so it looks like he's not too badly hurt. Sabonis has been very fun to watch -- and a nightmare for the opposition -- lately and hopefully, he'll be fine for the rest of the way.
