Dodgers Looking To Acquire Miguel Rojas
2 years agoThe Los Angeles Dodgers are deep in trade talks for Miami Marlins shortstop Miguel Rojas, according to sources. No deal is done yet, but it could be headed that way. The Dodgers lost star shortstop Trea Turner to the Philadelphia Phillies in free agency this offseason, so Rojas would step in as a temporary solution for the Dodgers at the 6 in 2023. The 33-year-old hit a disappointing .236/.283/.323 with a .605 OPS, six home runs, 36 RBI, 34 runs scored and nine stolen bases in 140 games for the Fish in 2022, but he also played most of the season with a wrist injury that required surgery. In nine major-league seasons, he's been a .260/.314/.358 hitter with a career .672 OPS. If healthy and in a much stronger Dodgers lineup, Rojas will have much more fantasy appeal.
