Dodgers Interested In Garrett Cooper
4 years agoMiami Marlins first baseman/outfielder Garrett Cooper has reportedly drawn trade interest from the Los Angeles Dodgers. Cooper finds himself potentially with much less playing time than expected after the signing of Adam Duvall on Tuesday. Cooper is a solid bat, but has had trouble staying on the field. He's hit .281/.344/.449 with 21 home runs and 78 RBI in about one full season's worth of big league ballgames. He should net a decent return for the Marlins, but his fantasy value won't change much since he's not any more likely to receive consistent playing time with the defending World Series Champs.
