Dodgers Agree With Scott Alexander
4 years agoThe Los Angeles Dodgers and left-handed reliever Scott Alexander agreed to a one-year deal worth $1 million to avoid salary arbitration on Wednesday, according to a source. The 31-year-old had a 2.92 ERA in 13 outings for the Dodgers last season, which was his sixth in the majors and third with Los Angeles. He was acquired from the Royals in a three-team deal in January of 2018. Alexander allowed two runs in 2 1/3 innings in four games during the World Series run in the postseason last season. The southpaw is a nice left-handed weapon for the Dodgers out of the bullpen, but he lacks any kind of fantasy relevance.
