1 year agoThe Arizona Diamondbacks signed right-hander Nabil Crismatt to a minor-league deal on Saturday. Crismatt was designated for assignment by the San Diego Padres last week and elected free agency. He'll be staying in the National League West after posting a rough 9.82 ERA (7.37 FIP), 2.18 WHIP, seven walks and nine strikeouts in only 11 relief innings for the Padres in 2023. The 28-year-old reliever was much more reliable in his first three seasons in San Diego, recording a 3.38 ERA (3.81 FIP), 1.25 WHIP and 144 strikeouts in 157 innings over 101 appearances (one start). For now, Crismatt will operate as minor-league relief depth in Arizona.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
