Devin Williams Notches 30th Save
1 year agoMilwaukee Brewers relief pitcher Devin Williams was called upon to hold a five-run lead versus the Texas Rangers on Sunday. The right-hander was tasked with coming in with two runners on and two outs in the ninth inning. Williams needed only three pitches to get Nathaniel Lowe to line out to left field for the final out of the game. As a result, Williams recorded his 30th save of the season in this victory over Texas. He holds a brilliant 1.52 ERA, 0.95 WHIP, and 70/22 K/BB ratio through 47 1/3 innings this season.
