Devan Dubnyk Registers First Shutout Of The Season
6 years agoMinnesota Wild goaltender Devan Dubnyk finally managed to get his first shutout of the season on Monday, making 32 saves in a 1-0 win at Montreal. Mikael Granlund scored the only goal in the third period. The Wild always seem to do well against Montreal as they have now won nine consecutive meetings. Dubnyk has recorded at least five shutouts in four straight seasons, so he's been a big disappointment in that regard in 2018-19. However, there are still plenty of games left to extend the streak. Following 34 starts, Dubnyk's record for the season stands at 16-14-3 with a 2.56 goals-against average and a .915 save percentage.
