Desmond Bane Won't Play Versus The Knicks
11 months agoMemphis Grizzlies guard Desmond Bane (ankle) won't play on Saturday versus the New York Knicks. The 25-year-old logged 23 minutes on Friday versus the Clippers. However, his night ended because of a sprained ankle after stepping on Kawhi Leonard's foot near the end of the third quarter. It's a tough situation for Memphis, considering Ja Morant (shoulder) is done for the year, and Marcus Smart (finger) is sidelined for six weeks. Even worse, Jaren Jackson Jr. (knee) isn't expected to suit up on Saturday night, meaning guys like David Roddy, Luke Kennard, Ziaire Williams, Vince Williams Jr., and Xavier Tillman Sr. should get all the minutes they can handle.
