4 years agoHouston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson, a first-rounder in 2017, is under contract through 2021 after the Texans picked up his fifth-year option, but he expects to reach a long-term extension with the team that will keep him around for a while. He's not stressing about a timeline, but Watson is optimistic that something will get done in due time. The former Clemson star is already a two-time Pro Bowler and two-time AFC South champion, throwing for 10,586 yards, 75 touchdowns and 30 interceptions. His dual-threat abilities as a runner and passer make him a surefire QB1, but the loss of stud wideout DeAndre Hopkins this offseason has slightly lowered his ceiling in the fantasy realm.
