Deshaun Watson, J.J. Watt Avoid PUP List
6 years agoHouston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson (knee) and defensive end J.J. Watt (knee) both avoided the Physically Unable to Perform list at the start of training camp. Watson was always expected to be ready for camp after tearing his ACL in his rookie season. Before his injury, he was one of the best fantasy quarterbacks in six starts, and his ability to make things happen with his legs gives him extra value. Health issues make him a bit of a risk, but he's got incredible upside as a high-end QB1. Watt has a long history of injuries the last several seasons, but when he's healthy, he's one of the most disruptive defensive ends in football. Consider him a high-risk, high-reward IDP guy.
