Deshaun Watson Has Deep Rotator Cuff Contusion, Could Return Week 7
1 year agoCleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson (shoulder) has been diagnosed with a deep rotator cuff contusion, per ESPN's Adam Schefter. Watson missed Week 4, was on bye in Week 5, and will be inactive again in Week 6. While the 28-year-old has a legitimate chance to return in Week 7 versus the Colts, Schefter points out that a deep rotator cuff contusion makes it difficult to drive the football when passing. It's tough to imagine Watson plays in a game (let alone looks productive) until he is almost fully recovered. P.J. Walker will draw the start this Sunday versus the 49ers.
