DeSean Jackson Very Questionable For Week 2
6 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver DeSean Jackson (shoulder, concussion) is dealing with a shoulder injury and is a major question mark to play in Week 2 against the Eagles. Jackson is also dealing with a concussion he suffered late in the Week 1 win against the Saints. Two injuries are definitely not better than one. D-Jax will have to be cleared from the concussion protocol this week before he can practice, and even if he does he might have to be held out with his shoulder injury. The veteran wideout went off for five catches, 146 yards and two touchdowns in the season opener. Even if he plays, it'll be a much more difficult matchup against Philly. If Jackson sits out, Chris Godwin would become a sneaky flex option and tight ends Cameron Brate and O.J. Howard might see more work in the passing game.
