DeSean Jackson Suffers Broken Finger
5 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson (finger) suffered a broken ring finger on his left hand at practice on Tuesday, according to sources. However, he's not expected to miss the regular season opener against the Redskins. It must not be a very serious break, but it's something worth watching with Jackson early in the season. He returns to Philly after catching just 41 passes for 774 yards and four touchdowns in 12 games for Tampa last year, although he did have an impressive 18.9 yards per catch. Often a boom-or-bust deep threat, D-Jax has a chance to bounce back in 2019 in Philly alongside Alshon Jeffery and Nelson Agholor. There will be some clunkers, but Jackson can still be a productive WR4. He's more attractive in standard-scoring leagues. His finger injury makes him an even bigger risk/reward DFS pick in Week 1.
