DeSean Jackson Asks For Trade
6 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver DeSean Jackson recently requested a trade from the Bucs, according to sources, and he's hoping to find a team that can make better use of his talents. D-Jax went over the 100-yard mark in three of his first four games with quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick under center to start the year, but he has slowed considerably now that Jameis Winston is running the show. Jackson is making $11 million this year and is due $10 million in 2019, so it might be difficult to trade him. He has six catches for 103 yards in his last two games and has become more of a touchdown-dependant WR3/flex in standard-scoring leagues with Winston throwing him passes. A trade would open up more targets for receivers Chris Godwin and Adam Humphries and tight ends O.J. Howard and Cameron Brate.
