Derek Anderson To Start In Week 10 With Clearance
6 years agoBuffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott said that quarterback Derek Anderson (concussion) will start in Week 10 against the Jets if rookie Josh Allen (elbow) cannot play and if Anderson is cleared from the concussion protocol. A concussed Anderson is still probably better than Peterman, who threw three more interceptions (including another pick-six) in his start in Week 9 against the Bears. Anderson hasn't been very good in his two starts this year either, but he's at least a slight upgrade over Peterman. Anderson is a desperation QB2 play if he starts this weekend.
